We try to make the world a better place in any small or big way we can and actively support individual and team initiatives for a good cause. We match fundraising and, corporately, donate to staff-nominated causes every year. Everyone at Rockall can use a Volunteer Day each year to give hands-on help to the causes they care about.
We like to keep busy but also find time to down tools! Our company sponsored Sports & Social club runs a busy agenda with weekly activities such as pilates, football and swimming in the sea (eek!). Our annual parties are pretty epic. Otherwise, you’ll have to settle for kayaking, sailing, hillwalking, wine-tasting and lots more besides during the year!
We all started somewhere and we haven’t forgotten this, which makes us passionate about fostering young talent. Rockall has internship programs for undergraduates and graduates as well as work placements for secondary school students. We also take part in Teen-Turn, which is dedicated to turning female teens towards careers in technology.
We are open and transparent. Our monthly communications meet up is an all hands check in so that we all know what’s going on and what’s new. Every team member has an annual training budget to devote to learning and our mentoring and coaching programs strengthen us individually and as a team.
