Founder and EVP
A technology entrepreneur with twenty-five years of experience with software products and systems integration at high-tech corporates and start-ups, Richard’s more recent roles have been as CEO and co-founder levels during the growth phase of software product companies.
Richard’s specialty is in creating value in software product companies with a particular emphasis on bringing products to market, opening up new markets, finding and building management teams, winning customers and strategic partners and developing a winning corporate strategy. Prior to joining Rockall in January 2015, Richard was a co-founder of Avego/Carma and before that CEO then Executive Chairman of Mapflow (now a LexisNexis company).
Richard is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin with a B.A. (Mod.) in Management Science and Information Systems.
Luke Nestor has been in the Financial Services technology business for over thirty years. An expert in credit and loan systems, Luke founded Rockall to create banking book collateral management products that deliver value both operationally and strategically. He supports the development of Rockall’s corporate strategy.
Over his career, Luke has designed and built retail banking systems including loan origination, loan documentation and collateral management systems across multiple banking divisions.
Luke graduated from University College Dublin with a degree in Computer Science and also completed a 12-month leadership program at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA.
Fleur is responsible for the overall financial management of Rockall including accounting, financial planning and analysis, performance metrics and the optimization of Rockall’s revenue models.
Fleur brings a strong data-driven approach to strategic business planning and has over twenty years of senior management experience across a range of industries, including property, manufacturing and e-commerce. She also serves as Rockall’s company secretary.
Fleur holds a BComm from National University of Ireland, Galway and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Eoin is a software professional with twenty-five years of industry experience and extensive experience in software design and development and in the management of teams and projects.
As a cloud expert, Eoin led the ACIA’s (Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics) migration of its on-premise flagship product to Amazon Web Services infrastructure. Before that, he worked for Amazon Web Services, where he led a DevOps team that designed and operated custom network monitoring solutions. Eoin holds a number of patents in this space around innovative ways to isolate networking faults through simulated traffic probes.
Eoin has a strong track record in commercializing technology in telecoms, social media, SaaS and data integration. Eoin is a consistent innovator and proponent of Agile Methodologies.
He has a degree in Electronic Engineering from University College Dublin and an MSc from Edinburgh University.
Nigel is responsible for COLLATE, Rockall’s flagship Enterprise Collateral Management product line. As well as leading COLLATE’s development, he is also responsible for its implementation with some of the world’s leading banks including Nordea and First National Bank of South Africa.
Nigel has managed key software deployments for financial services applications and engineering projects around the globe for the last twenty years. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated end-to-end proficiency in ensuring successful client outcomes, engaging at all project stages from program initiation, business analysis and technical development through to business implementation and client support.
Martin has twenty-five years of experience in the software sector, developing and delivering solutions to customers around the world and is responsible for the implementation of Rockall’s STOC product line.
He has a particular focus and passion for building teams and the underlying development, quality assurance, customer services and client engagement processes.
Before joining Rockall, Martin was Head of Development with Misys (Wholesale Banking Division) and prior to that, he was Customer Services Manager at Credo group (preceding their acquisition by Misys).
Doug is responsible for the expansion of Rockall’s client base in the Americas and has exceptional experience in new customer acquisitions, client sales, and partner management across financial services.
Doug is a dynamic technology sales leader with a demonstrated ability in leading the expansion of revenue, sales process development and performance management. He has spent almost twenty years in sales and client-facing roles with various financial services and FinTech companies, including Altos Capital Management, Advent Software, and Dassault Systèmes.
Doug holds a BSc from Santa Clara University and an MS in Industrial Psychology from Pepperdine University.
A marketer experienced in rapid-growth and challenging environments, Katherine drives market leadership, demand generation and communications for Rockall.
Katherine has over twenty-five years of experience in developing and leading strategic marketing, branding and lead generation for information technology and financial services companies. She has worked with Abbey Capital, CompuWare, SteelTrace and Openet Telecom.
Katherine holds a BE in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin and Postgraduate Diplomas in Corporate Governance, Finance and Management.
Nicola brings a wealth of experience in delivering business performance whilst enhancing employee engagement from her work with Lloyds Banking Group, Royal Bank of Scotland, Aer Lingus and Monaghan Mushrooms.
Nicola is passionate about working with high-performance management teams on their journey to adapt, overcome resistance and change in order to thrive and achieve their full potential. She has expertise in establishing trust, building relationships, understanding business requirements, shaping solutions and ensuring delivery to a very high standard.
Nicola holds a BA in Business and Finance from University of Glamorgan and a Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management from Coventry University.
Terry is managing director of Clear Channel Ireland, a non-executive director of Independent News and Media and chairman of Rockall Technologies.
A graduate of University College Dublin, Terry also holds a Masters of Business Administration from Trinity College, Dublin. Prior to his role within Clear Channel, Terry was group marketing director of Allegro Group and also held a number of senior positions at United Drug plc.
James is Chief Executive Officer of Nissan Ireland, a director of Corporate Finance Ireland Limited, and a non-executive director of Windsor Motors and Rockall Technologies.
James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Law, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and is a qualified solicitor. He is also a director of Providence Resources PLC and a former director of Arcon International Resources PLC.
John is a highly experienced, senior financial technology executive specializing in sales, marketing and product.
John is CEO with Fadata, a provider of innovative Insurance and IT solutions for General, Life, Health and Takaful. Previously, John was General Manager of S&P Capital IQ and prior to this, he was Director of Business Strategy & Customer Solutions (Risk Analytics) at IBM and EVP at Algorithmics. John is also a mentor with StartupBootcamp InsureTech.
David is a market-driven financial services CEO, non-executive director and private equity advisor focused on growth through innovation, product leadership and customer relationships.
David is currently a non-executive director of eWise, a leading international provider of Personal Financial Management (PFM) and Account Aggregation solutions; he was formerly CEO of the company. Prior to this, he was President of Banking with SunGard and Managing Director at Fiserv with responsibility for managing the entire business across SEA and ANZ.
