We partner with Irish universities and institutes to offer several Undergraduate (3rd year or higher) internships to students each year.
Opportunities are advertised internally at each university or institute close to year end (October – December). Roles are typically (but not exclusively) in software development or software testing. During the placement students are fully integrated into the team and are exposed to all other aspects of the software development cycle and typical functions within a software company.
Internships are either 9 or 6 months long, starting in January or April until start of the new academic year in September.
Opportunities are advertised externally, same as other open positions at Rockall and internally at the universities and institutes with which we partner.
(Transition Year) Work Placements
Based on the availability of our teams, we offer several Work Placements for Secondary School pupils each year.
Regardless of the business area their mentor specialized in, pupils will be exposed to as many functions within a software company as possible.
Inquiries can be made directly to our @People team.
We proudly take part in Teen-Turn program focused on teen female pupils, providing them with an opportunity to experience what a career in technology could be.

“I have learned so much and have been mentored by the brainiest and coolest of people on the planet! I’m so grateful for having this experience and I know that my new love for coding won’t be leaving me any time soon.” Athaliah
